An Introduction
My name is Molly, and I am a writer and artist living in Lake Placid, New York. For ten years I worked as a publication designer in Manhattan, until my husband and I married and decided to leave the bustling metropolis for a more peaceful life in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.
It was a shocking adjustment, and four years on we still refer to our beloved New York City as "home." But in the meantime we are healthier and happier breathing the clean mountain air and skiing nearly every day. And of course, raising our beautiful daughter to love both environments.
On this site you will find various artistic anecdotes about my day-to-day life and adventures abroad. As a journalism graduate, I was trained to find "the story" in every place and every person I encountered. So it is here that I can document, in my own inspired way, the fascinating things I've seen and done since leaving home so many years ago. Although I’m currently in the throes of child rearing, I am trying to find time to compile a small book of poetry, so stay tuned.
