Wall Street’s Favorite Hangout

Ulysses bar is on Stone Street, one of the oldest streets in Manhattan and in the center of the financial district. On weekday nights this is the place to take off your tie, grab a bite to eat and have a few drinks with friends.

Although I am not a Wall Street employee, I love the atmosphere of this place, from the pictures of James Joyce on the walls to the long list of imported beers on the menus. I associate Ulysses with everything I love about working in such a powerful and successful city. In one of the most stressful corners of the world, this bar is the best place to relax.



Like many scenes I experience in New York, Cole Porter’s songs have accompanied me on evenings like this in downtown Manhattan. Read a list of my favorite songs here
